I think we should have been told in advanced that we needed to get fully dressed for dinner as me and my friend wore comfy clothes and felt out of place. As well as that the steam room was very small, we were practically touching knees with other people, the seating area was very small, I would have perfured sun loungers rather than normal chairs. Other than that the experience was very nice.
The cologen facial was lovely it was just what i needed with the winter months, the back neck and shoulder massage was more like a gentle back rub, i did ask for it to be firmer but nothing changed in the pressure this could have been better,my shoulders have so many knots and none were targeted
A very enjoyable day -lovely facial and back massage. Very pleasant and accomadating staff. Nice light lunch, good service. Spa facilities good value - not as extensive or 'swish' as some of the larger spas in the area but overall for what we paid felt it was value for money.
The Spa at the Manor House was ok however I have visited better and more up to date places. Everything seemed a little tired and needed some TLC. The staff however were friendly, professional and I recieved a lovely treatment.
We did received towels and robes upon arrival at the spa however my robe had a big hole in the back which was a bit off putting. It would have been nice to receive slippers as well as the floors weren't that clean and the treatment room I was taken too was in the hotel. This meant I had to walk up/down stairs and along corridors with no footwear.
