We all had a lovely day spent at the Manor House. The staff were very welcoming and the whole experience was very relaxed. It was simply lovely and we will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Manor Hotel. Service was a little slow in the restaurant but the food was really nice and staff were very friendly. Changing rooms could of been cleaner and would of liked somewhere to get changed privately rather than in the toilet. Overall the spa facilities were ok they could of been a bit cleaner but for the price we paid we were happy. Our treatments were the best part about the day and my therapist was really friendly. Although some places could of been a little bit cleaner but overall we were very happy and will definitely return.
Glad we didn’t pay full price, this was a groupon offer. First impressions, don’t be late. We were booked in for a 9am treatment, traffic meant we arrived at 5 past. Then we had forms to fill in which due to reception not being sure of the correct form lost us a further 10minutes off our treatment time.
Spa facilities were dated and unclean in parts including used plasters by the pool side.
Towels were flannel sized, no soaps in dispensers, no toilet rolls and generally everywhere looked painted three times too much.
Dinner however was lovely, fresh and well served. But be warned £3.50 for a pint of coke.
Grounds were lovely and well kept, it’s just such a shame what could be beautiful needs some investment.
The staff were also far too laid back and almost didn’t care.
They do operate a no reserving loungers policy but we found when we came back from lunch that all loungers were empty but with towels or robes laid on them which was annoying. When spoke to the manager who said to move the towels ourselves.
Wouldn’t recommend a scalp massage unless you like 25 minutes of circular movements in the same spot.
Although we found the facial was decent.
I requested my back massage as medium but pressure was to light for me.
Treatment Rooms need updating.
Products that were going to be used should have discussed before starting.
