Friendly, pleasant staff welcomed us on our first visit to this spa.
Lunch was lovely, my friends had the chicken burger and I had carbonara. The restaurant overlooks the gardens. Very good food, lovely setting and the staff again were great.
The treatments were lovely, very clean salon area; looks very new. We all had the same therapist, shame we didn't catch her name, she was excellent, we all felt very relaxed after our facials and massages.
The spa area has a decent sized pool; new jacuzzi; sauna and steam room with seating area.
Only points I will make are it felt a little dark and the floors in some areas looked grubby. However, we had a lovely day and would return as overall, a lovely, friendly, relaxing spa experience.
Lovely beautician and fantastic staff all round just a shame we went when they were still undergoing their refurb the new beauty rooms and dining area are lovely but the spa facilities and pool were in need of some work but would definitely go back once the work is finished
We had two treatments (facial & massage) which were very good. The spa it self need up dating. Wasn't very clean, I had forgotten to take my flip flops and the floors were very dirty. The changing rooms showers were in a terrible condition. On the plus side lunch was provided which was very good, we also got a glass of prosecco as the jacuzzi wasn't working. I suppose people might think well it was only £76 for 2 people but I'd rather of paid more and it been cleaner! Would only come again once it had been updated, I know they are add on conservatory but not sure what else they are doing.
the reason for my poor score on the facilities was due to the jacuzzi being off. that is the biggest part of a spa break. and we shift have been informed prior to going and given the chance to rearrange
Old dated and not clean. It's was like sitting in a public baths and not a relaxing experience. Gym as like working out in a garage.
Treatment was an oily rub rather than a massage
Food was ok
