This was my third visit and sorry to say was deeply disappointed. I had paid for myself and a friend as a birthday present. On arrival there was work man carrying out upgrades, jacuzzi had just been fitted and wasnt working and couldnt believe how dirty the floor and tiles were around the pool area and table area. The place felt unclean. For me you should be closing down until full refurbishment complete and a courtesy email or text to advise you are carrying out upgrades would have been appreciated as I would have re arranged. I dont normally complain however the amount of customers that were or will complain will be noticeable. Dissapointing and still waiting or a manager call back.
I really don't like to write negative reviews but I feel I must be honest. Out of our SPA experience the treatments were lovely, I could not fault them at all, they made us feel really comfortable and relaxing. The SPA itself lets everything down, we came to Manor House previous, roughly 3 years ago and around the pool area it still hadn't changed. It is in desperate need of a good clean and just a total refurbishment. I know there is work going on outside but I personally think the work is needed on the inside, this really is letting the hotel down. It was very dirty around the pool area and this was probably because people from the outside could walk through with outside footwear on. The Jacuzzi was broken and the pool was really muggy. We did not use the pool side facilities at all because of the cleanliness and sat for 1.5 hours until we were ready to go in for our treatments. After the SPA we did go to the restaurant for an evening meal and it was delicious, I would definitely recommend the food in the restaurant and thanks for our complimentary prosecco for the broken Jacuzzi.
