Fabulous staff and very nice lunch.

Quick efficient friendly staff tho out our visit. Loved the conservatory and the fact towels were taken away. Allowed others to use beds when ppl away getting treatments or having lunch..my only issue was lunch. The soup was disgusting not 1 person out of 3 could eat it. And fish or veg pasta for lunch. Not everyone likes fish. 2 out of 5 did not eat anything. We did mention the soup but nothing was done or said about it.
The fish cakes were delicious tho...

We were there for a second visit having been disappointed with first visit several weeks ago. Can’t fault the treatments I had and the food was very good but the general cleanliness of the spa facilities / changing areas let’s the place down. There seemed to be no one taking any responsibility for cleanliness - dirty coffee cups/glasses were left for several hours around the pool area. Towels in the treatment rooms were dirty. Very busy and popular - I’m guessing due to groupon deals etc but feel this is to the detriment of the whole spa experience.

The massage was very very weak and felt rushed.
The pool was quite dirty around the edges and a couple claimed the hot tub the whole time getting hot and heavy! There were no cups by the water machines and dirty tea cups on all the tables in the seating area. The showers were clogged up with masses of hair and the towel and dressing gowns we hired were very old and still damp. The scones we had were really lovely though. The staff were all friendly too. Could be a lovely place just needs cleaning up a bit.

Treatments and light lunch lovely. Staff friendly & attentive. Good facilities, where towels& dressing gowns were white & clean, general ongoing cleanliness of floors throughout the day needs improving.
