The staff where friendly and my therapist was lovely but the whole place is unfortunately a bit grubby. I won’t be going back unfortunately.

When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from the nice receptionist who explained minimal things. We went for our meal first which was lovely apart from the dirty tea cups that’s we were given, and dirty cutlery. Apart from that food was nice. Then we were given dirty robes with a hole in!! And a £10 refundable robe (to be fair I wouldn’t of took that robe for my dog to sleep on) off we went to get changed into our holy dressing gowns, and NO FLIP FLOPS, went to the toilet and no toilet roll, baring in mind this was at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Anyway off we went to enjoy our relaxing afternoon.... lovely water cooler.... however not sure how we were supposed to use it as there wasn’t a clean cup in site! And they were not replenished till we left at 7.30pm.... then off we went to the steam room to relax... glass door was absolutely filthy, you could tell it had never been cleaned in weeks! Never mind thought we would grab ourself a coffee, to then find where the hell do you get it from??? Or downstairs it may be, and back upstairs carrying them, surely spa experience means lie about all day and be relaxed??? Surely not! Beds were left with wet dirty towels on them all day and left others without beds to lie on! Not a staff member in site the whole time we were there ( which was a long time) sorry for all the complaints but it is the truth.... all in all don’t ever think I’d return as the cleanliness was just ridiculous and to have no water or loo roll all day is just a joke. So if your thinking about coming here bring your own water and loo roll :)

My daughter enjoyed her treatments and said the therapist was lovely.
However, mine were unsatisfactory. The sugar scrub,I was cold and the back massage wasn't good. The therapist was sighing and a lot of the time only using one hand. When I asked of extra pressure she said she it's only a swedish so limited pressure.
I was a beauty therapist for years, also used to teach it.
The beds in conservatory had wet towels on the whole time (there was signs saying ppl couldn't reserve) But no staff around to tidy away towels nor clear the many plastic cups and rubbish around.
I had flip flops with me but my daughter didn't bring any; I've never been to a spa and not received slippers. This is very unhygienic.
The service and food in the restaurant was lovely.

Had a lovely day, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a light lunch in the restaurant and it was very nice. I will defiantly be back soon.
