This was our first visit since the new conservatory has been built it has improved and refreshed the spa. Treatments was smashing. Would certainly visit again.
This was my second visit here and a special occasion for my 40th Birthday. We booked through a Living Social deal. This was my friends first visit. On arrival we were booked in for afternoon tea and had our treatment times confirmed. (booked weeks before as they are always full).
The spa is great with a pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There was plenty of beds and tables and chairs.
The cream tea was a let down. It took a long time to arrive despite booking it for a certain time and we had to ask for the prosecco. It was one scone (we expected 2) with plenty of Jam and clotted cream. Again we had to ask for our tea and it arrived when we'd nearly finished our scone so not great. The female staff member said there was a function on but it was disappointing to wait so long after it was reserved and there was only a few other people in the bar with us.
The treatments always make a spa day for me and we weren't disappointed. My beautican Vanessa gave me one of the best back, neck and shoulder messages I've ever had. I also had the Sugar body scrub which left my skint revitalised and soft. I felt amazing. My friend had the same treatment agreed they were fabulous.
The spa day left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and I'd not hessitate to recommend it.
