Excellent service from start to finish. The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming, the spa was lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing on the lounges and chilling in the hot tub. We had a facial and a massage (upgraded to aromatherapy) and both were absolutely amazing! Our therapist made us feel at ease and she did a wonderful job. Would definitely recommend.

There were three of us that visited the spar on Monday, the treatments were fantastic and the girls were lovely.
We were really disappointed to find the building was cold and nothing seem to work, the steam room was off the swimming pool wasn’t heated, we also asked for the fire to be put on in the lounge area and that didn’t work either! over all I think it needs a good clean and refurbish.
All the staff were lovely especially the one on the spar reception.

On arrival we received a warm welcome from the receptionist and given the key to our room.
The hotel is tired and the carpets appear to be in need of a good vacuum and shampoo.
On entering our room you could see the carpets in the room were stained and in need of a good clean and hoover, there was dust behind the bathroom door which had been there for some time. The light fitting on the ceiling had obviously been abused at some point, by its obvious jaunty condition. We stayed there for two nights and obviously the room had been made up while we were out through the following day, unfortunately the attention to detail in there cleaning routine was poor as the for mentioned dirty areas in our room wasn’t picked up or dealt with.
A plug on the kettle had a loose top fitting to its cover, I mentioned this at the reception after the morning of the first evening. Unfortunately on our return that evening it hadn’t been repaired, and the cleaner had rapped it around the kettle and just left it in a very unsafe state.
Breakfast on the first morning took 45 minutes to turn up and was mostly cold, as tempted as I was to send it back I didn’t as it took 45 minutes to turn up in the first place !!
We both had a treatment in the spa which should have consisted of a “FIRM” shoulder back and neck massage. The only thing I could compare this to is a very mediocre back rub !!
Even though the reception, bar and restaurant staff were nice, our stay was mard by the poor standard of cleaning around the hotel and in our room.
Please remember this is only my opinion based on the experience I had whilest I stayed there.
