The hotel was lovely and the spa was fabulous. The only downside was our room was not available at the specified time and the service in the grill restaurant was unacceptably late.
The spa was great but the hotel leaves a little to be desired for a 4 star hotel . We had to queue to book in and our room was not ready for another half hour meaning it was 3.55 when we got to our room and our spa treatments were booked for 4.10 . Then at dinner we were told there were quite a number of dishes that they had run out of , not the sign of a 4 star service , so spa great hotel a little disappointing.
My wife and I came for spa facilities, light lunch and two 25 minute treatments.
We decided to have tea and cake to which we had to return because it was so dry.
Spa facilities were really good.
We both got back massages, my wife really enjoyed hers, as was mine but the massage table was rocking from side to side which was a little of putting.
