Been going here regularly for my gel infills (nail refill) since October 2018 but will not be coming back again. It's not the fanciest salon but the people who used to work here did a really good job hence why I became a regular. I started having issues in this salon once new staff came in December/January.
In the last two months, I've had bacteria developing under the gel on the nail bed causing discolouration of the actual nail on two separate fingers - I've been doing gel nails for 12 years and have never had this issue before. The first time it happened I assumed it must have had something to do with my own nail but realised during the following sessions that the nail techs in this salon don't clean the tools properly between clients nor will they prep the nail when the gel has lifted from the nail. Apart from that, I have ridges across all my nails going back 2-3 sessions and my nails have become so weak they break constantly even with gel on. I really tried to give this salon a fair chance but will not be coming back again.

They do a really good job here. I was afraid my nails would get weak after removing the gel extensions but they were not.
