Lovely cosy salon and a super welcoming experience, I enjoyed a relaxing spa pedicure with plenty of attention to detail and Emily chatted me through the treatment. The staff were also incredibly helpful and knowledgable regarding further treatments and definitely look forward to returning- thank you Emily for my holiday feet!

I would never come here again for a french manicure. Firstly, I signed up for this salon because they advertised using Bio-Sculpture, which is the only gel I will use on my nails, as I find it less damaging. When I got there they used a brand I had never heard of, and when I asked why they weren't using Bio, they said it takes too long! Which is probably true, but it looks 20 times better if applied by someone who knows what they are doing. The gel used was Cuccio, it's coverage is awful, so she had to use three coats of the base colour to make it look even, which makes them look too thick and way too pink. The french tips look like they have been drawn on by a child with tip-ex, they are not straight and are extremely uneven and blotchy. The gel is also overrunning onto my cuticles in places and was left under the nail. I have had them on two days (how long it's taken me to buy some acetone) I am embarrassed to show my hands, and the whole point of getting them done in the first place was to show off my engagement ring! They will be removed tonight - hopefully that will at least go smoothly. If I have damaged nails at the end of this, I will be furious.

Best facial I've ever had. Really relaxing atmosphere and lovely staff. They even did my make up afterwards. Also I often feel when having a facial that the push products after the treatment, I did not find this. Great experience. My partner said his massage was lovely too.

My first visit to the Duchess was lovely. Very professional staff that looked after you all the way through. The massage was in a separate area with a screen across so I could hear some talking throughout but it didn't bother me as the massage was excellent! Will be booking another one soon.

I had a lovely massage at the Duchess, very friendly therapist and great heated massage table! It was explained that the partitioned "room" would still give privacy (which was fine with me), however other therapists walking past and hearing people talking in the next room was slightly off-putting. I assume the music volume was set louder to account for this but I wish it could have been slightly quieter and more relaxing. Other than this, I did enjoy my massage itself.
