Complained about unprofessional massage, still received no reply after 4days. Yoga was cancelled the day before despite booked months in advance. Smoothies were a milkshake and I do not drink milk. Was not informed. Spa was nice, but it’s not worth this price. Actually really sad to give it a bad review as I was looking forward to it so much. The organisation was also quite bad as this lead to having shorter times for the activities planned. Unfortunately this was not the relaxing day we wanted.
Our massage was lovely, very attentive and relaxing!
Unfortunately the spa itself was something to be desired. It was dirty with lumps of hair in the jacuzzi and old shampoo bottles on the floor. The couple before us left their dirty towels / dressing gowns on a chair and these were left during the entirety of our time there. Given Covid, I would have presumed that a general tidy or wipe down would have been done with each new set of people going in.
I'm not one to complain a lot, however I am quite experienced when it comes to massages, and this massage was one of the worst I have experienced. Don't get me wrong the lady was friendly and polite but I just don't think she's experienced enough to be giving massage therapy. I just felt like I was dosed in oil. FAR too much oil was used, I didn't really feel massaged it was more of just a rub and the lady's hands were just sliding around and the oil was dripping, I couldn't wait for it to be over
SPA-TEA-CULAR: A Birthday treat for my daughter. Just what we needed after 2020 (and beyond...) Anna took us to the spa area - although small it was just right for two people. My massuer Sabrina did an excellent job after an hour in the steam room and jacuzzi - a full Swedish massage, hot towel "cool" down and a short face massage. Christina made our afternoon tea with a glass of bubbly special. She introduced each morsel individually. Would return for sure.
