I booked the afternoon tea and spa day with an hour treatment package and was very pleased with the booking process.
The spa receptionists were extremely polite and friendly and provided great customer service.
The afternoon tea was lovely with great variety of nibbles.
Our massage therapists were fantastic. They provided one of the best Swedish massages I’ve received in years.
The only let down was the state of the hotel as you could see the wear and tear and smell the damp.

a very relaxing and a great massage.
The lady was very calm, considerate to ask what I would like her to work on (neck and shoulders) and gave a good massage.
However, I would not recommend the Chilworth Hotel to anyone.
The overall Chilworth Spa experience wasn't so good. It was a big disappointment and a confusing/miscommunicated experience. The email communicating the time and what was going on was very basic - confusing - terrible.

Booked the spa, massage, and afternoon tea for my dad and his partner. 2 days before the day, there were issues as the hotel did not have the booking on their system despite me having the email confirmation. The hotel then confirmed a time without consulting me and could not change it; the plans then had to change so the guests could make the booking. The food was nice but service was extremely slow. Despite having the jacuzzi at an allocated slot, there was another couple there! Ridiculous!

The spa is very small. Only a steam room and a jacuzzi. It only has one shower room and one toilet which was very uncomfortable as you have to wait outside until the person inside is done. The toilet and show room are together very tiny and the floors were very wet. The staff however were all very nice and the massage therapist.
