I have purchased the afternoon tea with the option of an 1 hour massage and the use of spa facilities for two. On the first visit we have been wrongly informed that one of us will have to wait for the message and go in after the other. We were not informed of this previously. As a result we have received an option to book in for another 30 minutes at another date. The staff this time were very friendly and we were able to have the massage together at the same time unlike the first time.
We had a relaxing experience at The Chilworth. The massage wasn't really as firm as I like it, though was very relaxing. There seemed to be too many people booked in for the small area though - with more than 2-3 people in the jacuzzi it feels cramped. There is also a lot of noise coming from the waiting area if people are talking as it's just one room which makes it less relaxing. It was a little smelly and would benefit from better cleaning. Overall it was a nice experience and good value.
I booked a 1 hour massage with 2 hours spa access for my partners birthday. When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes at reception because the spa was shut. When we finally made our way down to the spa I was shocked. It’s was a tiny little room in the basement. There was a small hot tube and a stream room that wasn’t even hot. How someone could use the facilities for 2 hours is beside me. The 1 hour massage was plenty. I wouldn’t call this a spa experience and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Such a shame i have to leave a bad review because the massage itself was excellent as were the staff This is not a spa experience. The spa area is tiny! It is not relaxing at all . A male receptionist sits in the spa area which is next to the hot tub taking calls making bookings etc... just doing his job but his presence is just awkward. The changing rooms can only fit one person at a time so if you have your stuff in the locker and have to rush off..... you'r stuck if someone else is in there
