Very friendly staff the spa area was nice and quiet very clean me and my mother had a fantastic time the afternoon tea was lovely very nice relaxing time was really needed
The massage was really good and the masseuse did a good job of getting rid of tensions in my back and shoulders.
The facilities are so-so. I could only use the jacuzzi as the sauna/steam room were out of action but that is probably covid related.
There was a booking confusion between reception and spa which so I had to change my booking to use the jacuzzi. It was okay because was staying at the hotel but reception and spa need to improve on communication, a shared online calendar could have avoided double booking.
Overall, the massage was excellent, team was friendly and worked hard to follow Covid protocols.
Jacuzi will benefit from a clock to help keep track of allocated time. A boutique spa experience should include a drink on arrival.
We were supposed to have a private jacuzzi for an hour before our massages but a group of 4 very loud people were in the very small room which housed changing facilities and Jacuzzi. It was impossible to socially distance. We were supposed to be picked up from the jacuzzi by our therapists at our treatment time but were instead left to find them at ten minutes after our treatment time. Finally the afternoon tea was awful consisting of store bought cakes and crumpets instead of scones!
