Lovely salon maybe slightly more expensive than other salons but very good

I have been meaning to write this review for a number of years!
I have been going to The Beauty Works since it opened and can honestly say it is by far the best beauty salon in Edinburgh. Trust me... I have tried them all!
The staff are by far the best thing about this salon. Welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. It's like visiting your best friend!
Marsha's waxing and eyebrows are the best in the business! My whole family go to her! She is also so kind and reassuring and gives the best advice when it comes to beauty and skincare.
Louisa's massages are hands down (no pun intended) the best I have ever had! I travelled Thailand for months and I can still safely say Louisa's are better! If you are looking for a massage that is absolutely 100% tailored towards you then look no further. From the minute you enter the treatment room she puts you at ease. It's like she can actually sense how you are feeling that day and then tailors the massage to suit. She'll even let you choose your own essential oil based on how you feel. Last time she incorporated a thai foot massage, reiki and an indian head massage into 90 minutes of pure bliss. You will not be disappointed if you go to her for a massage. She is seriously talented.
I have also recently started going to Karyn for my hair and she is so knowledgable and experienced. Highly recommended.
Finally, the treatment rooms always feel so quiet and tranquil, despite being only a few steps from a busy road. I genuinely feel a million miles away when I'm in them. Candles and cosiness. Just what the doctor ordered!
I'm moving out of Corstorphine in the next month and I will without a doubt continue to go to this salon for all my treatments, despite the half hour travel time.
Thanks to all the girls at The Beauty Works. Don't ever stop what you are doing!

Fabulous Hair & Beauty Salon, Can't Recommend Enough! I have been going the The Beauty Works every 2/3 weeks for the past 2 years and had various treatments including getting my hair done on a regular basis. I am always extremely happy with each treatment and look forward to my next appointment. The staff are lovely, helpful and so friendly! A great one stop shop for all your beauty needs! I have my eyebrows waxed & tinted along with my shellac nails done every 2/3 weeks by Janice who does a fantastic job every time. Many people compliment the shape of my eyebrows as Janice does such a wonderful job. I also get my hair done (cut & blow dry) on a regular basis by Angie who cuts a fabulous bob style haircut. I recommended this salon to friends and family who are now regulars too. They have also had a brilliant experience with each of their treatments including massages, eyebrow waxing, eyebrow tinting, eyelash tinting, shellac nails and gel nails. Highly recommend this wonderful salon :)
