Great friendly staff and a nice venue
Relaxing venue and the girl who did my nails had excellent tools- Deighton Lenny nail files are amazing! Having had Shellac, OPI, and now Gelish I would say I prefer OPI gels and Shellac. Also, the girl was confident in her own product (Gelish) but had no competitor awareness so couldn't say how they compared- I always like to ask. Overall good but the final coverage on my nails was a little thin.
Perfect French manicure....very neat and has lasted for ages.
The spa itself and the treatment was good but the overall experience at Bannatynes was disappointing. The centre appears to be set up for its regular users and not geared up for individual spa days. There were only 4 sun loungers available - no facilities for day spa users like cups for water etc - we were told on arrival we could join any classes, but when we tried to do aqua aerobics found that classes had to be pre-booked and there were no spaces left for day spa users.
Venue was very cold. Swedish massage full body was just a back and shoulder massage and I had to chose to have something else (manicure) as they didn't have time to do a full body! No spa ambience, no relaxing music etc, it was just cold in most areas.
