Brazilian keratin treatment was done expertly with no fuss - was in and out within 2 hours and the formula was gentle enough so no streaming of eyes or coughing on blow drying. Am yet to wash but a good experience on the day.
Pros: The salon interior is clean and cool and I was given a nice coffee when I took my seat. The prices are reasonable by London standards.
Cons: The cut wasn't really what I asked for (some layers at the front to frame my face, some very light layers everywhere else to give my hair some shape- not something I've ever had issues with elsewhere) and more what the stylist told me she'd give me, which was just layers at the front. The stylist said she would put waves through my hair after she'd cut it to give it shape, but this was rushed off in 5-10 minutes because a man came in asking for a walk-in appointment. This was despite me having booked in for an hour and 15 mins restyle- the whole appointment ended up taking 45 mins. Too much product was used on the roots of my hair such that it was greasy for the rest of the day (I had to wash it again before going out in the evening). Overall quite disappointing- won't be back.
My colour did not turn out as I had asked. I wanted to turn a darker shade of blonde and my hair is now brown.
I have naturally curly hair and I'd asked for a wavy blow dry and I got a straight blow dry with a slight flick.
The stylist really made her feelings clear about my hair which made me very uncomfortable. I called to discuss my hair the following day and I was advised to 'let it fade' and I had to make a case to get another appointment.
