I came in for a trim and tidy up to the subtle layers of my mid length hair but unfortunately if didn't go so well. My stylist couldn't really grasp how I wanted my hair to sit around my face and then proceeded to curl my hair with tongs even after I said I would prefer not to have it curled and just wanted it blown out instead. She insisted my hair would just have a soft wave so I let her go as her English wasn't very good I figured it must have just been a miscommunication or whatever I also succumbed to the the classic of being too uncomfortable/polite to complain trap and really having my hair curled wasn't the problem. However, I wish I had stood my ground on it as it wasn't until a couple of days later after I had washed my hair and blow dried it myself that I realised how bad the actual hair cut was. The layers, instead of being natural and soft, are really severe and and stepped, and uneven around my head, and while I had some communication issues with my stylist, a language barrier is no excuse - no one would intentionally ask for this haircut in any language. Overall my hair now looks and sits terribly - it honestly looks as though I've just hacked at it myself. I really don't like giving bad reviews, particularly as the staff were personally lovely, but I'm so disappointed.

Cool hairdressers! I liked the place, but I paid 45£ for work my hairdresser did in less than 30 minutes. It felt quite rushed and not very accurate.

I had Anna for a colourist and she is absolutely fabulous! Not only was she so professional she was gentle on my hair, really listened to what I wanted and used her experience to determine what would suit my hair and skin tone best. She was like an artist with the balayage taking her time to work and assess the colours and the results far exceeded my expectations! The salon has the perfect ambience to let you watch the world go by and the ladies at the salon are so welcoming and friendly. This will be my regular hairstylists now and I wouldn’t have found out about this hidden gem if not through Treatwell! Great job guys!
