This was a really nice Spa, and the therapist was really lovely. I was running late, so missed out on about twenty minutes of the treatment and this was not the kind of Thai massage that I've had in the past, so didn't really get my money's worth. Nonetheless, this was a very luxurious experience in a fantastic location. I would go again, but the regular prices are very expensive.
The Thai massage was excellent, the therapist was called Max and if you have knots or tension he'll be sure to get rid of them. I was very impressed with the treatment rooms and how tranquil the spa was. The steam room is also excellent but i was a little confused as to whether other people would come in so I kept a dressing gown on which defeats the purpose of a steam I suppose. You are given great what I would call PJ's to wear throughout the treatment and it is extremely comfortable.Definately give this place a try!
Pretty much everything you would want from a spa. With low lighting it is very calm and relaxing and absolutely immaculate. The staff were very attentive (possibly a little too attentive at times but that would be the only negative point about the whole experience) and treatments very good.
Very nice atmosphere and lovely treatment. The receptionist was chatting on the phone the whole time I came in and never stopped which made me worry a bit, but the therapist was top notch and the steam room very relaxing.I'll be returning but will bring some shampoo as the steam totally deflated my do and there wasn't any on offer. The restaurant up top looked and smelled fab. I didn't have time to eat, but I will next time. The outside loo is a bit weird - no mirror or hand drying facilities, but very good size and a chair to put your hand bag is a nice change. Lovely place.
We went there after purchasing a deal from Wahanda. I didn't check the voucher in advance to see what we should be getting, and it was only afterwards we realised that we were supposed to have had a floral foot bath for 15 minutes and refreshments on arrival! Instead we were just ushered into the spa. First off we went to the steam room, which wasn't really a treatment as such but just a steam room really. It's certainly very pretty, but a bit hard to recline and relax. At one point the steam went off and when we went to find someone, we were told it was fine, despite the fact we were sitting there in the clean, cold air! However the problem was soon fixed, and the steam was extremely hot and pleasant. After half an hour, the lovely therapist asked us if we wanted our treatments. Having booked aromatherapy massages, and reminded them when we went in, both my friend and myself ended up receiving Thai massages! I think there is a few communication issues at this place, as the staff were authentically Thai! However if this had been a problem I would've kicked up a fuss, but as it was both of us were happy enough to get Thai massages. It was my first Thai massage and it was amazing! Not exactly relaxing, but certainly effective! The therapist was great, he really made me feel at ease! It was a great experience, on a big bed with floaty music and candlelight. We then went and sat in the relaxation area, with a nice cup of tea. This was also great, as the surroundings (decor, smell etc) are lovely. The staff were super friendly and smiley, so although the whole experience didn't exactly go to plan, I would still recommend it regardless!
