Located behind the Salt Café just off Baker Street this charming place is more promising than first impressions give. As you walk up the steps you are transported to an oasis of calm with candles, a well thought out décor and friendly staff creating the most relaxing atmosphere.
After completing a questionnaire about medical conditions, I met Nancy my therapist who put me at ease by putting on some Chinese music.
Being my first experience of Thai massage it took some time for me to totally relax and get used to the various stretches, and movements that are designed to reduce any tension, with Nancy asking if all was OK throughout the experience. Once I did relax I found it to be very enjoyable and left feeling totally supple and stress free.
This is my second visit to this venue and as usual, I got a great massage with a very skilled therapist. Used a combination of Thai and deep tissue massage techniques. Prices are very reasonable and the oils used were of a good quality.
Great massage. The therapist had an instinct for the strength of pressure different areas needed, and where my stress points were. At times it was very firm, almost painful, at others or was relaxing and I could have drifted off! Really recommend the therapists here.
I think it's fair to say that I am a regular here now. This is the first time I was a little disappointed with my visit. I had made sure before booking that I would get a particular therapist but when I got there I was given someone else who was okay but nowhere near as good as the therapist I asked for. As a result a little disappointed. I will go back again and really hope I get my regular lady again.
Difficult to find but once we arrived (I was late) they were great! It was better than I expected and would use them again. The deep tissue massage was very relaxing and felt absolutely divine. I think I'll try some of the other treatments on offer! The staff were very friendly and attentive.
