I visited this place four times in total over a month's home leave in the UK, and couldn't be more pleased with it each time. I am just adding here that all the positives mentioned in my previous review and that of others, have been consistent features and not a lucky 'one'off' as I first wondered - the friendly welcome, the excellent service, the professional therapists and the deep healing massage. After two visits I felt like I had a new body. They always took careful account of my comfort, but weren't afraid to be deep and robust when it was needed. I agree with other reviewers that the gym seems empty or at least quiet whenever I go by, but that may be by design as some nice apartments are nearby and the denizens may not want a crowded Fitness First etc. When you go upstairs you are transported into a cool oasis of peace - it's very nice. Music may well be from a discreet Ipod with speakers, I didn't notice tbh, but if the eastern music is soothing, surrounds pleasant and the therapies top-notch I'm happy to not be paying the overheads for a stereo system playing elevator music, however good. The prices are very good for Central London too. Again, I was a cynic who has been converted and will be returning this this place when I'm next back in the UK.
I eagerly snapped up this deal on Treatwell, but despite high expectations didn't think it could possibly measure up to the glowingly strong endorsements - a bit of exaggeration in there, surely. However I was wrong, wrong, wrong and cannot recommend this place strongly enough. It is easily accessible through a gym down the side of the Salt cafe, in a pleasant corner of Marylebone behind the railway station - I later had a light lunch in a pub in the leafy neighbourhood. I was rather nervous, but the cheerful and courteous girls put me at ease and told me what to do. It was the height of this summer's sweltering heatwave and I'd been trapped perspiring on the tube, and totally unbidden by me they brought me a gown and towels and took me to have a shower - nice cool power shower in a bamboo room it was too. I was then shown to a pleasant candlelit room and told to change. The massage was heavenly, deep and firm and thorough by cheerful and confident therapists. Excellent pressure, they twist and stretch you and walk your back too although they are ever careful and ask you first, keen to remain within your tolerance levels. Starting at the feet, I had every knot and adhesion in my body worked out. I was really exhausted and worn out after a job interview and long flight, was pretty clumsy and tired but the girls were kind and gentle and I felt like a new man afterwards - and immediately booked another. It gets full stars. This really is a great place and the best massage in London, without dispute, and delivered by cheerful and professional therapists who make the tired or nervous guest welcome. Starting as a cynic, I have since had several massages there and would recommend at least the 90 minute one - if you have an hour, like me you will wish you'd had longer!
The place is small but clean and pleasant-looking. The staff was lovely and my therapist was very good, both at massaging and adapting to my requirements. I was not a big fan of the scrub as I don't think it did much for me but the deep-tissue + Thai combination was great.
It offers a great service and the stuff is very professional. The overall experience was better than i expected and it was exactly what i needed. I'm definitely going back soon..
This is the second time i visit this place after trying some alternatives and i have to say that it is by far one of the best in London. The location and the ambience could have been a bit better. It is located over a small gym (which apparently happens to be empty every time i pass by) and the relaxing music comes from an Iphone that indicates a lrather simplicity of facilities. Nevertheless, the therapists are simply amazing and the massage is totally worth every penny. She adjusted the massage to my problem ( i have terrible pains in my neck and back) and spent at least 20 minutes trying to solve all tention and knots from those spots. And the hot stones extra? The best part of it. It is overall clean and a very decent place to have a massage. All the worth goes to the therapists, they surely know what they are doing! Highly recommended!
