I went to Thai London Therapy Marylebone for a pregnancy massage. They were running 15 minutes late which they emailed me about, but I had already arrived at the salon by then. The salon is not the easiest to find and is quite small. My therapist was very good and the massage was very relaxing.
I booked a hour hot stone massage but upon arrival, the therapist thought I was there for a 30min massage. I was shown to a room but there were no instructions so overall slightly confusing start and and not so welcome reception.
The massage was more deep tissue than hot stone, I was happy to have deep tissue massage instead, but if you went expecting an hour of hot stone massage, you'll be disappointed as she only used stones for a few minutes here and there. As far as deep tissue massage goes, she was really good though. With the discount offer, it is good and I recommend this place for deep tissue massage.
FABULOUS as always!!! returning again this week. This is the only place I will ever use for a hot wax. I recommend it to all my friends and colleagues, professional and top quality service at a competitive price.
Not too hard to find despite the reviews, it's a little side alley next to Salt Cafe about 10 mins walk from Baker St station which isn't much to look at and seems a little weird as you walk through the gym to get there. Once there, its pleasant but basic. The staff are quite friendly and offerred water (though some hot herbal tea would have been better). Forget the facilities however, the beauty of this place is the quality of the treatment. My girlfriend and I had the couples deep tissue massage which was excellent, just what we needed. The therapists use a Thai style massage and they really really got into all our knots. They walk on your back (they do ask before if you'd like this) and use quite a bit of pressure on their elbows to really dig deep - I had to hold my breath a couple of times, but I persevered and was really glad I did. They really understand what your issues are through talking to you, but also from their own assessment. My girlfriend asked for a "softer" massage which was met with "but that won't do anything for you" - a brilliant answer. So this is not a pampering treatment, but proper treatment. I definately will be going back. (sorry if I have put anyone off this, I'm sure there are less hardcore treatments they do!)
One of the best massages I've ever had. It includes hot towels and hot stones and the therapist really gets to the areas that are bothering you. She focuses wherever you want as well as the rest of your body is taken care of as well. It is excellent value for money, especially in London. I would recommend it to anyone.
