I read the reviews online and although majority were filled with outstanding comments, I was still dubious but booked it. When we arrived, staff were very welcoming and greeted us with a smile. I took along two friends of which one i shared a room with as part of a couples massage. We were led to another building which bypassed the gym. The smell of the gym left me a little concerned and I had read a review that mentioned that the noise from the gym could be heard which got me worrying. When we went upstairs and the massage started... I could hear no noise from the gym so my worries were set aside. This was my first experience of a thai massage and I loved every minute of it! The experience was like none other and both friends shared the same opinion. I would highly recommend the spa and most certainly agree with those that describe it as a hidden gem. Hoping to visit again soon.
Downside: I had called the day before to find out parking arrangements as was told I could park it near the flower shop. On the day I called to confirm that this was correct and spoke to someone else who mentioned they were unsure and did not ask if anyone else could confirm it. I decided to park in the car park thinking it should not cost me too much but ended up paying an extorniate fee of 12 pounds!
To summerise, other than the parking issue, highly recommend for all to experience and will definately be making another visit!
I really enjoyed it but I have to say that the only no is when you have to go trough a gym to get to the rooms. The ambience is very nice, but that gym in the middle has nothing to do with the rest. The massage was great and the therapist was very good!:)
