Good firm massage from Pat, very skilled masseuse, there was a bit of confusion over the booking but all was resolved fairly swiftly and the overall service was good. To apologise for the confusion I was given a complimentary foot scrub as well.
They called me after I made this booking and told me the stylist wasn't available. I asked to just cancel the appointment and have my money refunded. Hasn't been done and am chasing them.
Previously, had made an appointment that the stylist just didn't turn up for. Why take a booking if you don't have the people available? Terrible customer service.
The venue was easy to find, turned up 15 minutes early and I was seen straightaway.
The nail "bar" is in the corner of the foyer so whilst the staff were waiting for their next appointments, they were directly behind me chit chatting away. The lady who did my nails was absolutely lovely though and apologised for them. The ladies were very friendly though.
They didn't have facilities for a nail bar, it was simply a table and two chairs, a light and sink in the corner. My hands were washed in a plastic bowl, dried off with kitchen roll and the sticks used to spoon the cream from the pot onto my hands were not brand new. All the skin around my nails were trimmed off and swept onto my lap.
There were absolutely no colours to choose from, only about 10 big OPI bottles that were reds and pinks, and then there were 4 tiny tester OPI bottles that only came in pastel colours. I knew what colour I wanted before I went, I wanted a blue colour, dark or light but they didn't have any blues, so opted for a lilac which was a teeny bottle.
The nail varnish layers were too thick, so did not dry, even though I waited there for half an hour for it to dry. It didn't dry at all and by the time I got home, it had all chipped and rubbed off. As a result, I had to take it off once I got in, big waste of money.
It is hands down, the worst manicure I have ever had.
