Manicure wasn’t done properly,nail shape and length wasn’t the same,nail varnish applied uneven.

The beautician was lovely but I am afraid the manicure itself wasn’t satisfying. Nail varnish all around my nails, uneven application of the varnish and bubbles showing. There was rest of cotton ball stuck to the varnish and the filed off nail was not cleaned from underneath the nail. I had to to it all at home when I had more light. It was cheap and the music was soothing. The room was not ventilated and smelled heavily of varnish fumes.

Mariette is a natural talent for massage. I have been to osteopaths, chiropractors, had acupuncture, acupressure and every type of massage imaginable to try and deal with the knots in my shoulders - Mariette was the first one to really get to the problem and make a difference. I went for the deep tissue massage and it was intense, but incredibly effective. My friends bought me a massage for my birthday and I chose somewhere nearby that was good value. The salon is not high-end glamour but that's not really what matters, once Mariette starts the massage you might as well be on a cloud! She's the hidden treasure of South East London and you won't regret a visit.
