I visited Sunbury X hair salon on a Sunday after a desperate last minute booking. My hair hadn't been cut in over a year and was falling out badly post childbirth. I didn't tell the hairstylist I had been a hairdresser and manager of salon for nearly 20 years as I didn't want to scare her! It took a lot of courage for me to visit a salon I knew nothing about as I usually always stick to my ex colleagues, but I have recently moved to the area and decide to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. My stylist (I have forgotten the lady's name, but she was a lovely Asian lady), was confident and listened to what I wanted. She checked with me the whole way through if I was happy and took her time to make sure the cut was exact. I have blowdried my hair twice since and it falls into shape beautifully which is rare for my thick and usually unruly hair! I have had many compliments and would definitely book to see this lady again. She was friendly and knowledgable. My only criticisms are that I thought £45 was possibly a bit steep but then I'm unfamiliar with the rates of the area, and also that this lady was on her own working - which is an employee health and safety breach in my book, so I'm hoping the owner addresses this.

I arrived 10minutes earlier for my appointment but the butician was already there and available to take me in.
The procedure lasted about 30minutes and as it was waxing it was little painful, however throughout the whole time the lady was very careful and polite. All in all I am very satisified and because the location is in close proximity to where I live I will be sure to go there again. Furthermore there is free parking (up to 2 hours) outside on the road which makes it easy to get to by car.
