I have regular sports and deep tissue massages due to multiple sporting injuries. My experience at the Stratford salon is by far the worst massage experience I've had and left me feeling disgusting for the rest of the day. I booked a sports massage because the website would not allow me to book a deep tissue massage unless it was gifted to someone else. On arrival I was taken to a treatroom room in the back, the salon is generally run down and does not have a good ambiant feeling. Before the massage began the massage therapist felt the need to explain to me the difference between and sports massage and a deep tissue massage and as I originally tried to book a deep tissue massage it was decided that I would have a deep tissue massage rather than a sports massage. Just after the massage started the door bell rang and the massage therapist left the room to open the door. Once she returned to the room someone knock on the door and again she left the room but this time I could hear the massage therapist and someone whispering on the other side of the door. Once the deep tissue massage got back under way it was clear she had no idea what a deep tissue massage is. She used an excessive amount of massage oil and she atempted to do a deep tissue massage on my hands, fingers, shins and feet while using a rediculas amount of massage oil. As far as I'm aware deep tissue massage is to be preformed on tissue and muscle not bones! In the middle of the massage the therapist had to move the massage table with me on it to the other side of the room so she could stand on the other side of the table, absolutely rediculas. The massage therapist then attempted to massage my head, at that point I made my excuses As i was not going to allow her to drowned my head in massage oil. Once the massage was over which couldn't come soon enough I spent around 10 minutes trying to wipe off the the excess oil from my body. Normally I don't write reviews good or bad but In all this was a really bad experience, also despite the therapist explaining to me the difference between a sports massage and a deep tissue massage It's clear I received neither. It was a complete waste of my money and my time and felt horrible for the rest of the day until I had a shower.

I had a skin lightning/birghtning facial: The lovely beautician who carried this out began with steam (LOVED), Extractions (of whiteheads/blackheads -painful but extremly effective), followed by an exfoliating scrub, two masks (one of the essentially to brighten complexion) and moistureizer. My skin felt amazingly soft and smooth, and looked it too! One of the best facials I have had in London; and great value for money! My only one suggestion would be to invest in another product for skin brightening - this one was too mild for my skin. Otherwise, fantastic experience and wonderful, friendly and attentive staff! Will definately be making a second trip.
