I had a fantastic experience going to Stepping Stones in Clapham. The ambience is fantastic. The receptionist was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The massage was an hour of pure relaxation - the therapist was very professional. She spoke alot less than the previous therapist I had on my last visit to Stepping Stones but this suited me just fine as it was meant to be a relaxation massage. Highly recommended.
Having never tried out kinesiology before or been to Stepping Stones, I had no idea what to expect. My therapist was unfortunately 20 minutes late, but more than made up for it with his skill and knowledge. I found the lifestyle consultation at the beginning of the session very useful, as it covered diet, sleep patterns and work habits amongst other things. This was followed by a massage tailored to my aches and pains, as well as some muscle therapy, breathing techniques and assisted stretching - all of which I found to be immensely helpful. My therapist was careful to talk me through each stage of the session, and made lots of helpful suggestions as to how I could improve different areas of my life. I left feeling physically relaxed and mentally uplifted, and will definitely be going back. Those looking for pampering and luxury may find Stepping Stones a little clinical - but if you are looking to improve your health and wellbeing, I highly recommend it.
This was my first time to have Reikki and as it happened I had some problems with three of my toes. I didn't feel the effect of Reikki straight away but two to three days later I suddenly realised that the problems with my toes had nearly disappeared, so I can only recommend the place/therapist
I rarely right reviews but on this occasion I really felt it necessary!!! My friend and I purchased a 60 minute deep tissue massage via Wahanda for £20. It is the first time either of us had used Wahanda and were really excited to receive a good valued massage!... I think I can safely say this was probably one of the worst massages I have had!! The therapist was very nice at Stepping Stones however he spent 20 minutes doing some alternative therapy (which we hadn't asked for) and I ended up having just a 20 minute back massage - note not full body... the closest he got to full body was my arms!! The massage was not deep tissue at all.. he basically just rubbed my back as if they were drying a plate. He also spoke through the whole treatment so that I wasn't able to relax at all and tried to sell me a number of his other treatments. I feel that the salon just uses Wahanda to get new clients through their doors and then proceeds to sell them other treatments... without even doing the treatment that was paid for. Thoroughly, thoroughly disappointed and certainly won't return. , which is a shame as if they had done the massage well I would have thought about it!
We went for a massage which was very good. The therapists were friendly and professional. The location isn't the nicest but for the price we couldn't complain! Would definitely recommend and visit again.
