Stepping Stones Natural Health Care, is just round the corner from clapham junction station. The receptionist is very welcoming and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. My beauty therapist was great . It was also very great value for money at £20.00. A great experience which made me want to return.
Not the best location and a little hard to find, but then a real delight once you step inside the spa. Very clean and sharp imagery, receptionist was polite and was expecting me. Wait was not long, unlike many other places, and the therapist was very polite and seemed to enjoy her job. Never got the impression I was receiving a discounted service due to it being a voucher, unlike many other places. Massage therapist knew the pressure points well and tailored it to my individual needs. 100% recommend to anyone!
Went for a one-hour massage and came back out really satisfied with it. The therapist asked me about the sort of stress I was experiencing and the pressure that I wanted for the massage, and knowing that it was primarily my shoulders and upper back that were the most tight, she spent most of the time on kneading out those knots, but without neglecting the rest of the body. I was very relaxed throughout the massage and was thoroughly pleased with it. May go again if in the area.
The therapist was great. She spent a little time before the treatment getting to know me and how I felt in my body and mind. I felt very comfortable talking about personal things. The treatment that followed was so relaxing and exactly what I'd wanted. Afterwards, the therapist explained a which regions she felt I'd reacted to. This was great because she only told me what she had noticed rather than trying to get me to believe that I had problems or speculating about what those problems were.
The only negative about the whole thing was that I was seen aroung 20 minutes after my appointment time. However I was not on a tight schedule so this didn't really bother me.
A very relaxing experience.
It's been the second time I have visisted Stepping Stone for a Reiki sesson, which was again very very good and helped me unblock some emotional blockage.
Would def. return for another visit.
