amazing experience, i am a nurse and suffer from a really bad back. the treatment was so relaxing and once it was finished the pain in my back had totally gone. i have since been back for a further session and have re-booked for a third. i am a total convert. the centre does some lovely holistic therapies, the clinic is very clean with friendly reception staff. it is a short walk from asda's at clapham junction so i parked my care there (free for up to two hours!). the therapist (hilary) is a lovely ladies that completely puts you at ease and is excellent at what she does! well worth every penny.
I really enjoyed this treatment, the therapist was very nice and gave me a whole lot of other lifestyle tips in addition to telling me about reflexology. When we started she made sure the athmosphere was relaxing, with soothing music and dimmed lights and the reflexology was amazing, I dozed off a few times and came out completely relaxed. Would recommend it to anyone needing to destress!
I just needed my eyebrows threaded and the overall shape of them was okay so just needed tidying up which was no problem and I would definitely go back again as it is local and a very friendly , personal service!!
First the bad - trying to book an apptointment wasn't that straight forward - but the staff worked hard to accomodate me for when I was free.
As an holistic therapist myself, I have found it very hard til now to find a salon/therapist that I would say is fantastic. Most people don't introduce themselves, ask relevant medical questions, cover you with towels properly or give you the full time you have paid for.
I was greeted by the receptionist who was very polite. My therapist (Lynda, I think) introduced herself with smile and hand shake and took me into the room where she proceeded to run through a quick medical check. Most people do not do this, and could potentially be doing something dangerous if I were pregnant for example.
I was always covered up with towels and she is the only therapist EVER who has done the most important thing to me during massage - she never totally removed her hands from me, always maintained contact. The pressure was spot on too.
The salon was clean, the room was warm and dark with plenty of space for her to freely move around me.
It was a very good experience and I would love to go back if they had more offers. I have recommended her to some friends - who know that I don't often rate massage therapist that high.
All in all, a very positive view of Stepping Stones. Well done!
One of the best massages Ive had. I always purchase this deal when its on. The venue is easy to get to from Clapham Junction, its usually pretty easy to get an appointment. The massage itself is bliss and amazing value. Really recommend.
