When you have a bad wax, it's really bad. This was a genuinely horrible experience. I was left with red raised marks, bloody patches, burned areas, sore patches and was covered in wax. The beautician used strip and hot wax and by the end I was really sticky where not all the wax hadn't been removed properly. At one point she seemed to use her elbow to get purchase - really not a good experience. I have had plenty of waxes that have gone just fine at this salon and others in the Splash chain but this was really very unpleasant.

Kept me waiting 20 minutes. Room tiny, no space to change. Didn't feel clean. Unprepared, the wax wasn't hot in the machine, had to wait for them to get other machine. Too much strip wax used when paid for hot wax. Results ok, though some areas not thorough.

Lots of colours to choose from and the staff were brilliant as always. I've had neater manicures but overall really good and great value.
