I’ve been to Splash before but usually for Shellac treatments, today was a polish and file manicure and I was very disappointed indeed.
Many of the polishes had run-out, had not been replaced and so were unavailable despite the colour chart you’re offered at the beginning.
Further, the staff didn’t inform me beforehand that they did not have cooling fans for the polish and that the nails would take “40 mins to dry” - I ended up smudging one of them that I was told would be touch-dry after a few minutes, and had to wait for available staff member to redo it.
The polish ended up bubbling up (a result I think of the quick-dry spray being used too close to the still wet nails) and because of the messy finish I removed all of the polish myself when I returned home. Time and money wasted.
Sadly due to the experience this’ll be my last time at this venue.
