Really quick and efficient as normal, wax was a bit more painful but it might of been because the lady did it in larger sections
Friendly and efficient. My haircut was fine and input from the stylist was useful.
Good as always the only thing is that sometimes they run late which is not good when you are on your lunch break from work
Lovely, fast (and very clean) service with no waiting time before being seen - pretty much unheard of at any other waxing salon I've visited in the past! The only thing I thing I would say could be improved upon, was the esthetician's communication skills. Not in a chatty " how was your day" sense - I don't need anything other than to get in, let them do their job then get back out! It was more related to the bikini hot-waxing itself... It's fairly well-known that pain of this type of treatment can be lessened somewhat when you're asked to place your hands temporarily in 'certain areas' during the waxing (keeping the skin nice and taunt) - this didn't happen at all though. A few minutes in, I'd realised it was slightly more painful than my last few waxes, so I offered to lend a hand (or 2) but she didn't quite seem to understand what I was saying, so I let her continue applying her wax to fairly large areas at a time. Not a huge issue - but it did seem to make the experience slightly more painful than it needed to be. When she started to apply the first area of hotwax I also noticed that I wasn't asked whether it's temperature was okay for me. Not a major issue as the temperature was really quite spot-on in this case, however I have actually burnt by hotwax in the past by a completely different chain of salons, so I do appreciate it when they check to see that I'm comfortable. One other small note I'll make, is that my wax seemed to set really slowly as the room was so warm. Again, this is probably quite difficult to gauge without speaking to your client (and I suppose too warm may be preferable to being too cold, and the warmer the room, the more your pores open - making the waxing less painful), but when I could feel my back actually starting to sweat, I asked if she'd be able to make the aircon slightly colder. She did straight away I was instantly a lot more comfortable - and the wax seemed to cool faster and make the appointment go a lot faster too. Overall these are really minor issues which only took me speaking up to fix and make better. I've definitely had MUCH worse waxes in my lifetime at other unrelated-salons, and paid far more for the treatment too, so I'll definitely still be returning...it's so clean, really good value for money, the staff are all lovely and I've never ever had any issues here before. It may just be worth having a chat your esthetician *before* she starts your treatment (especially if like me, you struggle to be assertive when you're half-naked and on your back in front of a stranger) - it's much easier to make sure you're on the same page that way!
The beautician was in a hurry so she was like “let’s get it done in 5min”. The final result was disappointing!
