Splash Charring Cross is always my first choice when it comes to a mini / pedi as Sylvia the therapist is fantastic. The only problem is the lack of choice of colours for gel nails. There's been no new colours in ages and the one I wanted was finished. It would be great to have more choices and maybe some neon colours otherwise I will go somewhere else and that would be a real shame! Get more colours now please!!

Mixed experience here - had leg, underarm + Hollywood wax with Silvia, who was fantastic! Very thorough, super quick, and hurt a lot less than usual. I'm not great with waxes, and this was a great experience and made me feel at ease. I found no leftover hairs, my skin feels great all over (I have super sensitive skin, so no easy feat) and no leftover bits of wax as I've seen other people comment on.
I then had a conditioning treatment upstairs, which was really awkward. The place is super small, so they pulled out a stool, put it in the middle of the room, brought down an oscillating heater to circle my head and left me there balancing uncomfortably for 10 minutes with cling film on my head. I wasn't offered a magazine, or my phone or even spoken to. I understand it's an inexpensive place, no frills, etc., but a couple things could really improve the experience for free: actually provide a comfortable seat for people getting this treatment, not in the middle of the room making them look like they're in the zoo, be considerate and offer them something to do while they wait. I didn't really notice much of a difference in my hair afterwards, so probably wouldn't do that again.
I also had a hair cut, shampoo and blow-dry. If you like to be quieter with little to no small talk while getting your haircut - I really do - this was great. Valerio was really good to ask a number of times as he went if I was comfortable with the length, the blow-dry style, etc., so there were no nasty surprises. He was also pretty quick, a huge positive point for this place.
Overall, the wax was fantastic, would go there every time. Haircut was average to good, and the conditioning treatment was poor.

The beautician was great, did an excellent job and love my nails! Place is quite basic though and pedicure is done in a bowl on the floor.
