Everything was absolutely amazing - one of the best spa days I have ever been on! We were greeted warmly by the staff on arrival and shown round the lush facilities. The spa itself is so lovely, it's fairly small but that makes it a bit more cosy and intimate than most. The pool and surrounding area was exactly what we were looking for, the lighting and ambiance of the pool, sauna, steam room, heated beds etc. provided plenty of options for relaxation and indulgence. The chill out space (again small but lovely) was immaculate and the decor beautiful. You could make your own tea of choice, help yourself to healthy dried fruits and nuts, refresh with bottled water, lay back on the loungers, relax with some music or immerse yourself in the range of magazines provided. Pure bliss! The treatment itself was fantastic - my therapist was excellent, she listened to what I want and explained everything she was doing, the only issue I had was that it didn't last long enough! Overall a fantastic experience and overwhelming value for money - I'm already looking at booking again!
Overall a good price for the experience and value for money. It's a shame there isn't a proper pool which has seating areas around it but saying that the hydrotherapy pool was very relaxing and I enjoyed the steam room and the hot beds. I recommend you do book treatments in advance as when we turned up on the day they were fully booked. Afternoon tea was lush and there was more than enough for two people and in fact we had to take some of the cakes home with us!!
Firstly when we got there we found it difficult to find parking however the man at the concierge took our keys and took care of the car for us. We were welcomed very politely by the staff in the spa and were shown to the facilities. We had purchased the reviver spa day package and overall it had been a nice relaxing day. The afternoon tea was lovely and very generous too- we couldn't even finish it between the two of us. The spa was nice and quiet therefore we got to enjoy all the facilities peacefully. Small spa but good for its value.
I had a very relaxing spa day with a good friend. The venue was great as were the spa facilites. It would have been nice to have a pool. The relaxation room with refreshments (free tea and nuts/berries) with the option of champagne was a nice touch.
I booked the Reviver deal and enjoyed an afternoon lounging in the Spa followed by afternoon tea. The Hotel is easy to get to, close to Clapham Junction train station, but the final turn from York Road towards the heliport seems like it can only lead to a carpark but does get you to the hotel so you need faith in your directions! The Spa was empty so I was able to flit between the pool, sauna, steam room and sanarium and pause on the heated loungers in between and read a magasine. The facilities are excellent. The afternoon tea was delicious and generous and the restaurant area has great views of the river. I would recommend this venue for its spa and restaurant for anyone looking for peace in a modern environment.
