Everything was amazing... the best value. Just the restaurant did not reach the goal... the kitchen was not that delicious... we were expecting more from this restaurant... but the SPA and all hotel made us speechless.
Fantastic little spa, tucked away in London. We were fortunate enough to have the spa facilities to ourselves, but I would imagine it would get quite crowded with more guests using the spa. The towels/robes/slippers/shampoo/conditioner etc were luxurious. The afternoon tea was absolutely fabulous - so much food, plus a very lovely glass of champagne. The booking process for treatments was a let down however, as their system 'crashed' on a number of days and the lack of answerphone/call-back service meant booking was a but stressful. Recommend calling ASAP and trying daily to get booked in to a treatment. A great day however - would thoroughly recommend it!
I loved everething apart from the level of cleaness of the lock and shower area that was bad. Also there were not toilet paper in the toilets for basically all day, although the cleaners went to check at least two times. Apart from that everything was great and I will go back.
Unfortunately the pool was not heated so we missed out on a full enjoyment. We were able to use the pool the next day, however was still not warm. But would definitely go again. Was a very positive experience. I felt very relaxed.
The spa at this weirdly hidden away hotel in Battersea is excellent, not least because we were the only ones there on the weekday we visited. Massages were also brilliant. However, there was initial miscommunication about parking and the overall experience was let down by extremely slow service for the afternoon tea, which when it finally did arrive - almost an hour after we'd sat down - was nothing special, with suspiciously defrosted-tasting "fresh" sarnies. Interesting ambience too, metres from a helipad, which you'll either find annoyingly noisy or pleasingly jetset, depending on your point of view.
