Excellent treatments, pool was a bit cold but all in all a wonderfully relaxing day. Meal included was also great and not too heavy.
Great getaway in London, nice for couples as well as friends. Fantastic views of the riverside. Would definitely revisit. Go on treat yourself I say.
Excellent stylish and clean facilities with nice ambience. I particularly like the relaxation room with free quality tea because I do not like being rushed after massage. The staff both the receptionist and the therapist I met seem to be OK compared with other four or five star venues. One big drawback is the hotel is not easy to find and away from public transport.
I was originally looking just for a nice hotel to spend the night at after visiting Chelsea Flower Show when I came across this deal. The hotel is on the other side of the Thames and does not have a very convenient tube connection. We took a taxi from Chelsea to get there but then decided to walk back to Chelsea the next day as we spent a very long time in traffic. It's a scenic route, and on a nice day certainly recommended. The hotel is very modern, our room was spacious and comfortable with great views onto the helipad. The bathroom had a deep tub with separate TV. Overall we were very happy; maybe expected some more toiletries for a spa hotel. Our deal included a 3 course dinner in the bistro/restaurant. The food was average but plenty. Also, the setting was more lounge than dining which made eating 3 courses crouched down at a coffee table less comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Choice of fresh fruit, continental and cooked food. Ordering more special egg variations from the menu was also inclusive. Finally the Spa: definitely the highlight of our stay. The ambiance was very relaxing. There was a good choice of sauna and steam rooms. The hydrotherapy pool had a good size. We attended Saturday morning and had the facilities pretty much to ourselves. The inclusive taster treatment was at a great standard and very enjoyable. The relaxation lounge offered a selection of loose teas to brew yourself, as well as water and nibbles, magazines and comfortable furniture. The staff was very friendly and calm. At no point were we hassled with sales speeches. On checkout we found out that we had a complimentary minibar. Unfortunately we missed that on arrival (probably a good thing...). The receptionist must have said free, which we interpreted as full... Apparently a standard for this hotel when booking through Wahanda. Not mentioned in the paper work, so make sure you don't miss out!
Tiny little spa away a 15 min walk from Clapham Junction. Not massively clean (i.e. used slippers lying around) and loud chatty guests made it less zen that we'd have hoped for. Not enough places to relax in the spa area
