Disappointing Friday evening visit.
I booked this last minute after a long week to relax. The eucalyptus steam room and herbal sauna are really good and signing into reception was fine, with the receptionists being friendly.
However, I was disappointed with the facilities this time, all the toilets were out of order, such that we had to use the separate busy swimming pool toilets upstairs with children and families, it being too dark to see anything when showering/potentially hazardous in the shower areas in the spa area (not sure if these were also out of order), no herbal tea in the flasks provided when I tried pouring this. It was also so dark around the refreshment area in the relaxation lounge, that on coming out of the packed lounge as no beds were available, I found a very long hair inside my cup of water.
Ambience was very poor with loud groups/couples talking.
I've been here before on a weekday morning and it's been good. The facilities have worked much better before too. So I will definitely consider coming back then, but never on an evening/weekend.
