The spa did not receive my booking and so had booked other treatments - the lady at reception was incredibly rude and left me sat in their waiting area unaware of what they were going to do for my booking. During this she called other clients confirming their bookings and again ignored me, I had to ask what was happening - I eventually got my booking 15 minutes later than I booked in for, the treatment was amazing though and Katie was wonderful and made up for the rudeness of the receptionist so I would recommend calling ahead to ensure they have the details.
I had painful back massage after I asked the lady to apply less pressure. the facial was good. spa facilities were average. fainted at the spa good service from staff. VERY OVER PRICED
Generally excellent experience with the following exceptions.. Facilities were small, main shower very low pressure. Sauna very small. It would have been great to have access to the Swimming pool or a separate pool. No plug to one foot bath.
Pleased my leg wax was half price through Treatwell as although the therapist was lovely, it took over an hour for a leg wax and I was left with lots of wax still on my legs after the treatment.
There was also confusion when I made the booking as the salon called to say that because their system doesn’t link to Treatwell’s, my appointment was unavailable. It turned out that Treatwell had sent my booking to them for the wrong date. Strange as my Treatwell confirmation stated the correct date 😕. I think I might have caught this salon on a bad day.
