I enjoyed my Time for me spa day . Venue could be improved by having hot and cold drinks available on same level .
Booked for 2 people for the 'time for indulgence' package. We were both really happy with the day and would definitely recommend.
We got there for 10am, and we were offered free hot drinks in the reception while we filled out forms due to it being our first time- any medical problems, allergies etc. We were told if we wanted another drink, reception would give us tokens for the coffee/hot chocolate machine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and once they had given us our robes, slippers and towels, we were shown where to go for our treatments, and to use the pool and saunas. The pool is a good size, the lighting gives a nice ambience, and it's very relaxing. The pool leads onto the heat therapy suite, where they have a nice range of different steam rooms/ saunas.
The lunch included was lovely, we had a table looking out onto the peace gardens, and we couldn't fault our food or service. The spa gives you a lunch voucher which you take to the hotel bar, and they have a reserved table for you, with a spa menu on it. The menu had some nice options, mostly sandwiches, and they had a few 'upgrade' options, which were available for an extra £2 (I had spaghetti carbonara as an upgrade- was delicious!) They also had desserts for an extra £2.50. A drink was included too- soda, juices or a glass of wine were included- you could upgrade to a glass of prosecco for and extra £2.
Our treatments were booked in at 1.30, we got to the beauty suite for 1.25, and they have 'relaxation rooms' for you to wait in- rooms with comfy chairs/bean bags, and drinks while you wait. The treatments were great, between us both we had facial, scalp massage and back massage, and we both enjoyed our treatments.
Very lovely day, we can't wait for another spa day after this. Both felt very relaxed afterwards, definitely will be coming again.
I booked for a spa day that included lunch and 2 treatments. I was going to pay extra for a 3rd treatment on the day, but when I got there they had booked the times in wrong. So I had to cancel my 3rd treatment. To compensate they gave me a voucher for 50% off any other treatments on another day. The massages I had were lovely, the facilities were basic but nice enough and clean and the staff were all very nice. After finishing my spa day I enjoyed it so much I booked in with my voucher for 2 more treatments the following month.
stayed here this weekend just gone staff were excellent polite friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them room was massive all areas were spotlessly clean food to a very high standard the hotel is in the very centre of sheffield and anything and everything you could want is within a five minute walk we stayed here with a view to going to an event at sheffild city hall after checking out nearest carpark 2mins away couldnt have planned it any better if we had tried already looking a re booking for december
