We had a fantastic spa experience and treatment, the reception area, changing rooms , pool and treatment / relaxation areas were lovely . The sauna and steam rooms could do with a make over
Fabulous girlie break. All the staff were friendly, professional & helpful throughout our stay. Couldn't fault anything. Treatments & our Afternoon Tea were delightful . Sandeep & Aurelia on Reception, Alexandra Therapist & Faith in the Restaurant really stood out as going above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely return.
Very disappointed with this spa day experience. When we arrived, the lady showing us around couldn’t wait to end the tour, I felt like I was running to keep up with her! The spa and changing rooms are very tired and is need of some TLC. The steam room was out of order. No jacuzzi. Cold swimming pool. Limited seats around the pool. Dressing gown old and hook for the waist tie was broken. No cups for water. I booked a 40 minute hot stone massage which was only 20 mins long and the therapist made up the additional time with a facial, I would have preferred the whole 40 minute treatment that I booked! Had to ask for a clean towel on the bed in the treatment room as it was covered in makeup from the previous visitor (disgusting!), I doubt that any of the other sheets were changed. Sink being used whilst having my treatment with lots of clattering about. Not at all the relaxing experience that I thought I had booked especially with a large hen party who were extremely loud. Very hard to relax at this spa day!! Will not be booking a spa day at Mercure again.
