Was my first time visiting Sole Beauty. The staff on the front desk were so friendly and place looked clean. When I went downstairs, my waxer did not speak two words to me, I tried to make conversation and she was not having a bar of it. Made me feel really uncomfortable, lucky I was only having facial waxing, I would hate to be in that situation if I was having a more private wax.

The bikini wax was amazing and very reasonably priced. HOWEVER...I waited 20 minutes for my ‘Express manicure’ to start, and within a few minutes of it startin I could tell the girl had never done nails before. Bless her, she was very sweet and chatty but was SO SLOW, and not confident in what she was doing. I could tell from the way she filed my nails etc. She didn’t know how to hold them/the file and the whole thing took TWO HOURS (baring in mind it was express, and was due to take 30 minutes) As a result, my nails don’t look great, and the polish very thick. I didn’t have the heart to complain there, as she admitted it was her first day and she’d only every done nails for friends and family before (?!?) plus was very sweet. Just not acceptable though. I think she knew and said she would ‘probably be fired’ soon.
