I was so excited for a trip to soho has I had seen some good reviews on treatwell (some bad but I assumed these may be one offs) I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE BAD ONES! upon arrival at my appointment time I was told to wait and someone would be with me a couple of minutes. 40 minutes later I was sat down with a lady who spoke no English to then be told by another lady that “gel extensions” as advertised on their website were actually acrylics with a gel polish! Gel extensions were £40+ misrepresentation.
Once the nails had been applied (not cut or filed) I was told to once again take a seat.
20 further minutes later after 2 other customers had walked out from long unexplained waits I was finally called back to the nail bar where my nails were cut and filed down.
The manager tried to explain the wait was due to them being understaffed (why they hadn’t turned walk ins away when they clearly had appointments booked is a mystery).
I eventually had to walk out with my nails unfinished and unpainted as a 45 minute appointment had taken 1 hour 45 minutes and I had already missed 2 busses home. I can assume the good reviews are due to the fact the manager openly asked me to lie and leave a positive review despite the long wait and unfinished nails.

Really happy with my eyelash extensions. I wasn’t the best client as my eyes kept watering and I couldn’t stop blinking but the lady did a wonderful job :)

My nails turned out great however I booked my appointment for 16:30 and I didn’t leave until 19:00pm. They didn’t explain to me until after they had filed my nails down that they were short staffed and running slightly behind. By which point I had no choice to stay and wait for them to refill my acrylics. Had they explained on arrival I would of offered to come back the next day.

The application was rushed, not much attention to detail. After one day cracks and air bubbles began to show on almost all of my nails. When I went to get the gel removed (at a different salon) the technician advised me the polish used was not shellac.

beautiful salon and lovely, polite staff however the only thing lacking is the choice of shellac polish. However for £25, it is an amazing price.
