The lady doing my nails messed it up and had to basically start again. Felt like my hands were under the heat lamp for an hour. Treatwell system wasn’t working. Took over an hour for what should have been a 20min appointment. Very annoying

This is the first time getting my nails done. I opted for a nude stiletto shape. When I first arrived at the salon there was confusion over my booking and the 15% off I received for being a first-time user of the treatwell app. The salon workers challenged this in front of everyone in the salon and it made me feel uncomfortable. (I’ve had press on nails so I know I can handle fairly long nails) I didn’t realise until after I’d left just how long they are, it’s impossible to do anything. When you look at the nails from the side some of them are quite thick towards the pointed tip. When my nails were being filed down my cuticle on my thumb was cut and bled, it was very painful for several of my other fingers too as they went too far down.
It’s a day later and they’re so sore, when I apply pressure to my fingers it hurts. They look good but they hurt so much!!!
