The overall experience was fine but towards the end when it came to payment I felt like I was lied to. I booked the treatments online and was given the prices however I ended up paying £10 more than expected all because they decided to change the original treatment I asked for. I paid for something I didn’t even want which really annoyed me. Not sure I’ll be going back
Had a couple of really nice sets but the last time I went they passed me across several nail artists and ignored the fact I asked for my nails to be cut shorter. Didn’t get a chance to mention it again because the boss and the nail tech were arguing about her having a day off. Really put me off as she was distracted and didn’t do my nails to the usual standard and the whole experience was super uncomfortable. Had to get the nails redone a week later at a different salon.
I was asked to move away part the way through so they could serve another customer before finishing my treatment. This was impossible as I use a walking stick and need use of my hands to walk. After I pointed this out they trimmed them enough for me to just use my stick. My stick that, when I first sat down, prompted the man doing my nails to ask me “what happened??” which is just plain rude & frankly ableist. Happy w the finished product but not at all w the treatment or handling of disability
