As a salon it is in a good location, the pedicure area is clean and comfortable. The therapist was nice. The pedicure however was very average. I was booked in for 45 min. It took 30. She spent 2 min exfoliating my feet and then only my heels. This didn't really remove any dead skin. Which was the whole point of booking the deluxe. I left without any oil on my cuticles. However, they were nice enough to 'squeeze' me in for an eyebrow thread. Unfortunately I still had to pluck a number of hairs on my way home. OVerall, I'm disappointed that I did not get the deluxe pedicure I booked for and felt as if the whole treatment was very rushed. Oh and the music was terrible - I know this is a minor thing but listening to classical versions of 'IT's a small world' and 'Cruella De Ville' is not my idea of relaxing, or adult. And the playlist repeated whilst I was there so it really stuck in my head. Minor thing but affects overall experience
Staff were all lovely. Atmosphere was nice. Only problem was that the therapist filed off skin on my little finger and left me bleeding for half an hour. Lovely manicure otherwise but they need to take more care.
Have been here many times before and generally happy with the service.
This time I had the Pit Stop Manicure. (Shape, soak, push back cuticles & paint)
When I arrived I confirmed my booking and was reminded my cuticles would be pushed back but NOT cut.
I regularly have manicures & have always had my cuticles cut as standard.
The choice to have my cuticles cut was offered at a further cost of £10, after already paying £23 for the manicure I declined, as it has always come as standard with cuticle work.
I'm now paying the price as the excess cuticle on my left ring finger was caught & pulled leaving a rather painful area just above my nail.
Probably won't go there again.
