Unfortunately this was quite a disapointing experience overall. When i arrived for my appointment it seemed that either they were short on staff or had double/triple booked appointments. There were alot of us waiting but no reassurance from the staff as to why or how long it would be to be seen. My stylist was nice but her english was poor and my request had to be translated by another stylist. I did not mind this too much as she seemed to know what she was doing and was friendly enough but then the english speaking hair dresser didnt come back to check how it was going or if I had anything else I wanted so I was quite on edge. Overall the cut was fine but the atmosphere not great. It was very close to christmas and a busy time so I am sure this is a one off but has put me off going back again.

Wasn’t told when I arrived there was a delay and had to ask after 20mins what was happening
Coarse nail file used directly flat to nails to hack back and forth and I had to take the nail file and file myself going one way only
Old nail varnish wasn’t fully removed
Bled when she cut cuticles
Base coat wasn’t smooth on
When she smudged the nail colour on my fingers on the first nail I left the salon to go over the road and have someone else correct the mess at a further cost to myself
It was a bit of a tense environment, think there was some staff drama going on. My stylist was distracted to the point I had to move the curler away because she was burning a section of my hair (it smelled like burned hair). I wanted to get a loose waves look, showed her a picture but she did whatever she wanted, I left the shop looking like a Victorian doll (my hair is short so it’s not a good look). I took it she was just having a bad day and payed the full bill, but I won’t go back to this place nor recommend it to a friend.
