I really am a dental whimp. I read about these guys in Vogue magazine and decided to take the plunge at the end of April. I booked in for a High Gloss diamond polish as my teeth were looking tired after 5 years of neglect. Fernanda my lovely Brazilian dentist restored the sparkle to my teeth, but they still could be whiter.
She suggested I return for a Zoom whitening which I did yesterday. WOW they simply glow in the dark now. I am really happy now. My only criticism would be that I felt so relaxed I was prepared for them to do a full check up as I am sure that I need some filings. Ewa the smileadvisor told me that this was not possible as they do not do full dentistry only cleaning , whitening and Invisable braces. Well I gues thats why I really liked it there NO DRILLS
Nicer than a usual trip to the dentist - felt more like I was popping in for a hair appointment in the middle of town.
I was a little disappointed with the results - not really a visable difference to the colour of my teeth. I could notice when I looked closely but no-one else commented or noticed. I don't think that was the quality of the treatment here particularly just the nature of tooth whitening in general. Apparently unless you have really discoloured teeth it makes little difference. The dentist did warn that I wouldn't really get good results unless I went for a home kit also. Which of course is hundreds more pounds!
My only other criticism would be that the staff were a bit 'hard sell' the dentist was really lovely and made me relax completely but did try and persuade me to sign up for invisible braces.
All in all the treatment was not uncomfortable and the experience was pleasant but I wasn't really wowed by the results.

I was given a Treatwell voucher for Christmas and decided after watching a great review of smilepod on youtube to spend it on a tooth cleaning and tooth whitening treatments. Smilepod is like a dental spa, no drills no smells just a great atmosphere and great treatments.
I arrived as requested 5 minutes early for my appontment to fill out a simple registration form, I was seen on time and Fernanda my lovely Brazillian dentist cleaned my teeth. The review was of a High Gloss Diamond polish ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yBybMdfxrM ) and it lived upto everything Gemma the reviewer said. After the cleaning my teeth felt great and I then decided to have the tooth whitening treatment using whitening trays. It cost me £250 for the trays but boy my teeth look great.. My sister is getting married in May I will be going back then for another cleaning so I look good for the photos. One little tip If you join their face book group you get a 10% discount........
45 recently divorced and generally fed up. I decided this week to spend some hard earned money on me.
It was time to sort my yellow teeth and my aweful hair. First stop was smile pod , I found them on the net , checked out their reviews online and took the plunge. A free Whitening consultation and a high gloss diamond polish....... Wow my teeth looked good , sparkly clean again...Alice my friendly dentist recomended I got my teeth whitened with the Zoom light, I came back the next day as I was in a hurry. I am so glad I did they went from good to amazing........ Next stop legs and hair........ Maybe sometime I will try the botox too !!!!!!!!
I hate dentists but a friend recomended smile pod to me so I plucked up courage and booked a high gloss diamond polish . I was met by Richard a smile advisor who explained to me what involved and helped put me at ease. Richard had the whitest teeth I had ever seen. He then introduced me to Alice my dentist. Alice was charming and made me feel very relaxed and at ease. She explained that my treatment would not whiten my teeth but would make them very clean. She suggested I had the polish and then perhaps at a later date get them whitened. Well the 40 minutes in the chair flew past and at the end my teeth were so shiny and clean. I have decided to get my teeth whitened as a Christmas present to myself , and as I left a happy customer I noticed that they have started doing botox . That wll be for Easter....
