Smilepod is my very pleasant. The location is excellent and my therapist had good personality which is very important to distract you when you are getting a hygienist clean. Would definitely consider returning.
With no appointment on a Saturday afternoon, i was lucky to have a treatment. The treatment itself was very good; the Denist was very informative and made sure i was in no discomfort. All in all, my teeth are in better condition then before. Would recommend to use.
The receptionist and dentist were both very nice and friendly and the reception area nice and clean. However, the bathroom/loo area was so small it was terribly claustophobic and cramped. As for the dental treatment, I didnt feel as if I had any treatment done (my voucher was worth £65 for a 30 minute scrape, clean and polish) but it only felt like about 5-10 minutes of treatment altogether and it felt so gentle that I didnt feel as if the dentist was doing anything - it hardly felt as if he was touching my teeth at all. The water bottle ran out for the suction tubing during my treatment and the dentist had to leave the room and ask the receptionist to replace this - which all cut into my treatment time. Then the water leaked down my neck continually after the bottle was replaced. l felt this treatment was a waste of money, apart from the fact that the dentist told me that my gums were fine, which was very re-assuring to know and he gave me some good advice. But I won't be going again. Sorry x
The venue is in the heart of Covent Garden, in one of those traditional shop spaces- all very cosy and beautiful, quite a peaceful place. My therapist was lovely, was talking me through the treatment (I was having teeth clean&polish done, for the first time), also advising me on some issues, not at all being pushy in sales terms. She was very friendly and pleasant. The treatment itself is ok- at some point it was a bit unpleasant, but I suppose it is down to everybody's sensitivity. Overall v. good, I will go back there for sure.
There is always that dread with going to dentists isnt there? Well as this was a wahanda deal I had it in my mind and associated the whole trip with massages and haircuts etc and that stayed with me at reception which was small but perfectly formed and all the way to the treatment room. Then you see the dentist chair and I immediately fell a bit less at ease and remembered why I was there. But not to fear the therapist explained everything and was so delicate I did wonder when it was going to begin and then it was all over! Such a fantastic experience and the results were excellent. I will definitely get a polish scheduled more often especially where the surroundings are more like a beauty room then a dentist. Super convenient in the middle of covent garden.
